How About a Picture? It’s Writing-Adjacent, I Swear…

Okay, okay – today’s post is not writing related. Well, not directly. It is writing-adjacent though, and that’s good enough for me.

Lemme ‘splain.

I have just returned from vacation. Family vacation. It was fun and exhausting and cool and happy and draining and a lot of work. Now I have to get back to work. Real work. I’ve used the post idea I had on hand (thanks Marion and The Amazing People Club!) and now have to come up with something new. And I’ve got BUBKUS. I’ve also got no time to spend coming up with a clever idea, because I have got to get back to *real* writing. So you’re going to get some vacation pictures. How, exactly, are they writing-adjacent, you ask? Well, let me tell you: they are writing-adjacent because my posting them allows me to focus on writing, which makes them one step away from writing, which to my mind constitutes writing-adjacency. Ta-da!

(Yeah, I know it’s lame. But it’s technically true – the lawyer in me says so. Plus, now I’ve written/posted it and the internet says so. And we all know that if it’s on the internet, it must be true. So enjoy the pictures and have a great day!)
