Book Review Blurb: What Moves the Dead by T. Kingfisher admin posted this on July 5th, 2022 I just love the way T. Kingfisher tells a story! I also really enjoy the spins she puts on classic tales, and this latest is no exception. I must confess I have not read The Fall of the House of Usher, although I am familiar with the concept generally. That did not at all stop me from thoroughly enjoying this particular version of it though. It is creepy and gothic and atmospheric and there is an entire linguistic world built into it but I found both fabulous and fascinating. The short quick read but there’s a lot going on and I’m definitely going back to read the original Poe tale now!
