Another Freebie – Mozart this Time – and Some Insight into the Plight of the Lefthanded (teehee)

Okay, here’s a fun fact for you – there is an International Lefthanders Day. Seriously. Apparently, there are about 600 million lefties in the world (wow!) and this day has been celebrated since 1976. I have been alive since 1976, but sadly am not left-handed. As a result, somehow this particular fun fact has managed to escape my notice until now. I am pleased as punch however to report that I am now fully aware of the day, courtesy of the kind people at The Amazing People Club.

We’ll get to TAPC in a minute. For now, let me regale you with some more information on International Lefthanders Day and the miracle of being left-handed (yet another miracle that, sadly, I do not get to partake in – boo, hiss). What is the purpose of International Lefthanders Day, you ask? Why, it is a celebration of the uniqueness of the southpaws of this world, of course. It is also intended to make everyone aware of some of the difficulties they face, in our modern world that is largely equipped for right-handers.

It is said that left-handers operate using the right side of the brain, while right-handers use the left side of the brain. Teehee – does this mean that only left-handers are in their ‘right’ mind? Interestingly, there are a whole slew of talented people throughout history who have been left handed – Michelangelo, Einstein, Marie Curie, Mark Twain, Beethoven, Napoleon, Joan of Arc, Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, and Da Vinci to name but a few.

So now that I have regaled you with all of this information about lefthanders, you may be wondering about the freebie. I will get there in a second, promise. First some bad news though – and I’m warning you, this one may just break your heart. International Lefthanders Day was August 13, and you probably missed out on all the festivities (teehee). I know, I know – it’s mean of me to dangle such a fun-sounding “holiday” in front of you and then tell you that you missed it. Well, fortunately I’m a kind-hearted soul and I’m going to make it up to you – by offering you a freebie! Well, technically by facilitating the offer of a freebie made by The Amazing People Club. A freebie that is being offered entirely in honor of International Lefthanders Day. And they don’t even care that the ILD has already passed – or if you are right-handed or left-handed as you download it. How’s that for generous?

And so without further ado, I offer you The Amazing People Club’s free eBook about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Why Mozart, you ask? Because he was left-handed, of course. Duh. (teehee again) Enjoy!
